I am a mom of 4 and an emergency medicine physician assistant with over a decade of experience in healthcare. After years of managing the challenges of both a demanding career and a busy household, I was inspired by the Montessori philosophy that shaped my children’s development. I had 4 kids under age 5 and the only way to survive was to create an environment that fostered each child’s independence at their current stage of development. This made for happier parents and more confident children. 

That is what led me to create Butterfly + Bloom, a company dedicated to designing Montessori-inspired, heirloom-quality products that promote independence and confidence in young children. It is so easy to get overstimulated and overwhelmed by all the choices we have as parents, and I aim to help you keep it simple by creating products that seamlessly fit into your life
